Research: Enabling teams of robots to exchange “advice” between each other, so that each robot learns to perform a new task more quickly. Each robot uses reinforcement learning to learn which actions to perform in each situation. The advice mechanism I have developed acts to bias a robot’s action selection, while ensuring that each robot will converge over time to the optimal decisions.
